BCB - Visit Muhlau (Switzerland)

Some members of the band travelled to Switzerland to the town of Muhlau to celebrate their band's 100th anniversary. BCBhave a long association with the Muhlau band having previously visited Muhlau in 2012 and their band visiting Bournemouth in 2014.
BCB travelled by minibus and after a 14 hour journey arrived there a little tired and stiff! After a little bit of sight seeing and rehearsal time both bands took part in a concert in front of a 400+ audience.
The Muhlau band opened the proceedings and premiered a piece of music written especially for them 'Muhlau Hundertsten' (Muhlau Centenary) by Bill Willis from BCB for this occasion. After the BCB ensemble, conducted by Nick Jarvis, played their set, they joined with the Muhlau band to celebrate the occasion in the time homoured fashion. After a long journey, BCB arrived home in the early hours of Monday morning very tired but full of memories of their short visit.
